January Burger: The Big Popper
Happy New Year! We wanted to get the new year started with an extra kick. What better way than to incorporate jalapeno poppers with our burger of the month. Meet, The Big Popper, our January Burger of the Month and the first cousin of our Cammack Cheesy Jalapeno Burger. This juicy goodness packs just enough heat to leave your taste buds tingling without a need to dial the fire department.
Our jalapeno poppers are available on our menu as a side item. They are made from hollowed out jalapeno peppers and stuffed with a creamy nacho cheese. They are breaded and deep fried and absolutely delicious. So, to incorporate them onto our specialty burger we first smear a dollop of cream cheese directly on our grilled beef patty. Then we throw a slice of cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and a couple deep fried jalapeno poppers on top. The cheesy poppers explode in your mouth when you bite into the burger so we haven’t included any extra condiments on the burger. However, if you enjoy dipping this thing is amazing accompanied with a side of either salsa, sour cream, or our signature homemade ranch sauce. If you’re looking to add a little more heat? Order yours with pepper-jack cheese instead or add some extra jalapenos on top. We love it when you get creative and customized your own burgers.
This burger will be featured during the entire month of January so we hope you’ll pop on in and try The Big Popper (see what we did there – hee hee).
